Almondsbury is a delightful village split by a steep hill, part of the escarpment overlooking the Severn floodplain. At the bottom of the hill is Lower Almondsbury where you’ll find a lovely pub and hotel, The Bowl Inn, perfect for a meal at the end of a long walk. From higher parts of Almondsbury, the areas of South Wales, the Forest of Dean, the River Severn and both Severn Bridges are visible on a clear day.

Almondsbury village has many historical buildings now bordered by 20th century new builds, providing a variety of properties for different price points and lifestyles. The area has been popular amongst many young families and commuters looking to enjoy a more rural lifestyle in South Gloucestershire while still having the advantage of good schools and easy access to Bristol.
